We will be having a cook-out, games, and...

We are also doing something that will be REALLY FUN! that we haven't done before. (Be sure and show up to find out the details) Believe me...you don't want to miss it. There is a really BIG prize to win!

Elk Grove Western Festival Parade

We will have a float–Rain or Shine!

If you have children from ages 4-11 they are invited to be a part of the float. They will need to be accompanied by a guardian and a waiver must be signed on location by the guardian.

Attire:
The theme of our float is the Gold Rush. Both the child and the adult will need to dress 1849 Gold Rush attire. No tennis shoes.

Time:
Everyone participating will meet at 8:30 AM on location.

Location:
Our starting point is on Rancho Drive off of Waterman Rd. and our float position number is 103. (see map below.)

The float will end at the Elk Grove High School Parking Lot. You will need to arrange a ride for pickup at that location.

One Way Street Competition

WOW !!! Our team did an INCREDIBLE JOB... not only winning the GOLD but the PEOPLE'S CHOICE Award also for "To Ever Live Without Me". (Video and Pictures to come)

We were also asked to minister on TUESDAY Night in front of the ROCK CHURCH.

This means that we will practice on the platform at 630 pm sharp. We need 100% participation and if you can't make it to Tuesday night, please contact me at 709-1073 and let me know for sure.

We are SOOOOOOO proud of the team, including the alternates, WE WON for the Glory of GOD...

Oh yeah... ALL ALTERNATES for the skit... get ready for NO LIMITS, because YOU will be no longer the Alternates, but the participants. Please get with me for further instructions.

Again.... WAY TO GO TEAM... we will see you Tuesday Night, FEB 24th, at 630 pm.

ONE WAY Street Practice

DEAF CONFERENCE, too? Woo Hooo!
Hey team, we are having a special practice for ONE WAY STREET and Deaf Conference this Thursday Night Feb 19th at 7:00 PM til 8:30 PM. Can't wait to see you.. Make sure you call the rest of the team to let them know to be there.

One Way Street

DATE: The Xtreme Team is going to One Way Street on Saturday, February 21st.

DEPART: We will meet at 7:45 AM in The Rock Church parking lot. (Make sure you're parents don't leave you without signing the release form.)

RETURN: We expect to return between 5:15 and 5:45 (depending on traffic).

COST: If you have not pre-paid, the cost will be $38 at the door (or $34 if six pay at the door-which is likely) and $2 for gas (unless your parents drive). Also bring money for fast food.

PARENTS: You are welcome and encouraged to attend. Also, if you are able to drive please let us know.

Ever Live Without Me - All About a Man

February Schedule Change

The meeting originally scheduled for Saturday, February 7th has been postponed to Sunday, February 15th after Sunday School. Also, Super Church has been postponed until No Limits. The February meetings will be dedicated to the One Way Street performance which will be performed on February 21st.

January 11th Meeting

Our first meeting of 2009 will be Sunday, January 11th after Sunday School. Bring your binders and $4 for pizza.

Christmas Party

Saturday, December 6, 2008, 5:30 - 8:30.
At the home of Jim & Ruby Jones
8465 Bradshaw Rd. (Across from The Rock Church)

Bring a white elephant gift (anything from $0 to $5.) It can be a household item, but make sure it's wrapped as a Christmas present. Make sure your gift can be for both a boy and a girl.

Dress comfortable.

There is no cost.
